Panda Retail, one of Saudi Arabia's leading grocery retailers, has formed a strategic partnership with Spike Media Saudi and GoWit to expand its e-commerce advertising activities. As part of the collaboration, the company's digital advertising platform will be enhanced with artificial intelligence-powered technologies and data-driven solutions. The partnership aims to enable brands to reach online shoppers more effectively and improve the measurability of advertising campaigns.

Panda Reaches More Than 14 Million Online Shoppers

With more than 200 stores across Saudi Arabia, the company reaches over 14 million online shoppers. Its mobile application records one million active visits per month. Through the new partnership, the company plans to make more efficient use of advertising spaces across its physical stores and digital channels. The initiative aims to increase the number of advertisers on its e-commerce platform, automate campaign management, and expand advertising inventory.

Ahmad Chehade, Chief Marketing Officer at Panda Retail, stated that e-commerce advertising connects brands with consumers through more relevant and measurable methods as part of digital transformation. Chehade noted that the partnership with Spike Media would support the company's digital ecosystem through local market expertise and advertising technologies.

Advertising Campaigns Will Be Managed with Artificial Intelligence

Under the partnership, GoWit will provide the technological infrastructure for the e-commerce advertising platform. The system will include the use of first-party customer data, AI-powered advertising auctions, automated bidding, campaign automation, and real-time performance measurement. Spike Media Saudi, operating under the name GoSpike in Saudi Arabia, will manage advertiser relationships, local market expertise, and end-to-end advertising operations.

Osama Bukhari, CEO of Spike Media Saudi, announced that by combining the company's strong digital reach with local market experience, they would create new opportunities for brands to connect with consumers across Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia's Retail Advertising Market Is Growing

According to Grand View Research data, Saudi Arabia's retail media networks market is expected to grow from $554.3 million in 2025 to $1.15 billion by 2033. In line with this growth outlook, integration between e-commerce platforms, physical stores, and digital advertising channels is becoming increasingly important. The new infrastructure will enable advertisers to reach consumers with high purchase intent across different channels.

GoWit Will Strengthen Panda's Digital Advertising Infrastructure

Emrah Adsan, CEO of GoWit, stated that the partnership brings together advanced advertising technologies, local market needs, and omnichannel advertising solutions. Adsan emphasized that their goal is to create a more integrated, measurable, and scalable retail media structure.
