Türkiye’s National Artificial Intelligence Platform “Evren” Has Been Opened for Use

The national artificial intelligence platform Evren, developed under the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye’s Defence Industry Agency (SSB), has been opened for use. Aiming to strengthen Türkiye’s technological independence and data sovereignty, the platform offers data, artificial intelligence models, and high-performance computing infrastructure to a broad user base ranging from the defense industry to technology companies, from universities to entrepreneurs and students.

Data Is Processed in Türkiye with Evren

Prompt, response, and usage data on the platform are processed on GPU infrastructure located in Türkiye. In this way, it is aimed to enable users’ sensitive data to be used in artificial intelligence studies without being transferred to foreign cloud services. Access to the platform is provided through e-Government identity verification.

At the center of the infrastructure are 64 Nvidia H200 GPUs. The system includes 8.8 TB of GPU memory, 1,536 CPU cores, and 24 TB of DDR5 RAM, while total computing performance reaches the level of 47.5 thousand TFLOPS. On the image processing side, a separate infrastructure consisting of 8 Nvidia RTX A6000 GPUs is used.

Contributing Users Earn Credits

Evren operates with a contribution-based credit model instead of a conventional paid subscription system. Users can earn credits by uploading datasets, labeling data, or sharing the models they have developed. The credits earned can be used in the GPU pool for model training and large language model operations.

The platform also provides access to open-weight large language models, instant response, automatic model routing, and OpenAI-compatible API support. Developers can connect their existing software to artificial intelligence models through this infrastructure. In order to expand API usage, it was announced that API calls made until November 1, 2026, will be offered without being deducted from the credit balance.

Infrastructure for Artificial Intelligence Applications in E-Commerce and Retail

Technologies offered by Evren, such as text generation, image analysis, object detection, classification, and API integration, are capable of providing technical infrastructure for the development of artificial intelligence applications that can also be used in e-commerce and retail software. The platform brings together different stages of the artificial intelligence development process, from data labeling to model training, within a single system.

The Number of Users Has Exceeded 11 Thousand

It was stated that the number of Evren users, which reached more than 8 thousand active users in the first days after it was made available, has exceeded 11 thousand. The system contains 1.1 thousand datasets, 631 models, 14.4 million data items, and 82.7 million labels. In the coming period, it is planned to expand the platform with domestic large language, image, and voice models and to improve computing capacity through distributed GPU management.
